Ron conducted a concert of his music in Minturno, Italy in September of 2025 with the International Orchestra of Rome and chorus. The event was staged in an ancient Roman amphitheater built in the 3rd century BC. The Appian Way passes right in front of the stage. The four movement orchestra and chorus work titled Postcards from Italy was premiered with great success. On that same trip Ron was elected an honorary citizen of Maenza, Italy and given a lifetime achievement award at the Ferrera Film Festival.
